We spent today working at the church this morning. (we had a work day) Then, we napped and laid around the rest of the day. It was too COLD to work in the yard! Tonight I did try my hand at making pecan pralines. They are presently under the "diner dome" on the bar! They turned out pretty well... maybe I used too much butter, if that is possible, but they are YUMMY!

I have been going through Philippians lately and I am fascinated by the verse in chapter 2:13 that says "for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose."

Today I had this thought: God is always faithful to lead us, but sometimes we are not faithful to follow. When we get off track, it is because of our choices... not His leading.

If you have any thoughts on this verse, comment me. I would love to hear them. Hope your weekend is great!

Mike and I participated in our church work day recently too. I don't know how long it has been since I have been that sore! After a few hours of cleaning vents, working in the flower bed, scrubbing tables and chairs, then painting, I basically spent the rest of the day in bed. LOL
